Any chance, someday, PADEMU will support generic gamepads?

Hello, I know I will sound kinda dumb, but...

It would be hard for PADEMU to support those USB controllers that use generic drivers?
I mean... You guys from the scene already did the impossible, and made PS4 controllers work...

I know I don't have any data to support this alegation but... I'm sure alot of people would use it,imagine being able to use any controller that uses generic drivers, the possibilities would be to awsome

There's any way to help? someone to donate a controller? someone to donate money?
Thanks!

Or even just support for different types of PS3/PS4 controllers. The PlayStation 2 has some amazing fighting games, which could really benefit from being able to allow use of arcade sticks with them.

Is there anyone out there who has the knowledge/capability to help increase compatibility of PADEMU?

TECHNICALLY it is possible to update PADEMU to a kind of "input device manager", BUT it would need a lot of work...!

Would the job be simpler if it were only to support other PS4 controller types rather than ALL USB devices?

Most people essentially just use PS4 arcade controllers in the fighting game circuit.

Hoping this would be kore achievable.

Would you happen to know who has the knowledge or expertise to be able to help make this project come to fruition? Would absolutely love to get in touch with them, and could even provide some incentives!

There are MULTIPLE people around with the knowledge, but most of them are deeply engaged in/with other projects and things, so an additional project like this is not really on the list, for a lot of devs.

What are you mean in "generic"? Recently i looked up an xbox controller driver in Linux, i surprised how many controllers trying to be compatible with original microsoft controllers.

I am dream(and try to) about xbox 360 controller support in PADEMU. Because i have one, and he have USB cable much longer than Sony ships with PS4 console :D
