PS4 Anyway to Check Usage Time on a PS4?

I know PS3 has a way to do this using PS3toolset.com

I was wondering if PS4 had something similar?

I dunno about any payloads which reads that, but you can always check HDD S.M.A.R.T where one of parrams is time power on.

How can one check that exactly? I dont know what that 'smart' acronym means.

Every firmware of mass storage like HDD, SHDD/HHD, SSD monitoring various of parrams of that device. It is called S.M.A.R.T report and can be read by many tools for storage diagnostics.

I know of no easy way, but it may be possible with the syscon mod chip by BwE. I think the PS3 version of this takes the information from the syscon. The PS4 uart may also provide this information. I know of no software way. You could check orbis toolbox, but it has a tendency to crash the console.
