are my PS3 slim temps ok?

so i installed 4.88 evilnat and let it sit idel at the XMB for 10 mins as i dont yet have any games installed and the CFW says the CPU hovers around 149F and the RSX 158F at 28% fan speed should i be worried its a CECH-2001A slim

Expected for a 2000 series . Removing the top cover could help or changing the thermal paste .

thanks i have a friend out of state who offered to change the paste for me just wasnt sure if my temps were ok?

I had about the same thing with a 2500. RSX at 68 degrees when completely idle with fans at 30%. I don't trust myself enough with taking things apart so I sent it to a repair shop to have it cleaned and the thermal paste replaced.

your cpu is not that bad 65C on 28% fan speed but rsx is hot 70C and it looks like you need change thermal paste.
Thermal grizzly kyronaut is very good paste (also expensive too :/). I can say disassembly ps3 is not that had I even made that on superslim and fat model TronicsFix had cool guides. You need torx screwdriver if you not have
