Few days ago I bought 3x CECHC04 consoles with ylod for $25, syscon showed 3034/4322 errors on all 3.
I did RSX reflow on them and all 3 started working.I also delided them and changed thermal paste so its not overheating again, added 500gb HDD's and installed 4.90 evilnat firmware.
I was thinking about selling them for $80 a piece but then saw that those are backwards compatible and I read somewhere that they are rare.
Is it true that those are rare and more expensive than normal ones ?

A and B models are fully BC. they are most expensive. (B does not have wifi.)

C and E models are party BC. some ps2 disc games may have problems. they are more expensive too, but not as much. these are the only "BC" models sold in some regions (such as Europe). in these regions, imported A and B models may be even more expensive than usual.

other models will not play ps2 disc. config files can be used to improve installed ps2 games, but there are many games that have problems or do not work.
