PS3 HAN Are you able to get Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas to work with HAN???

I have extracted copies of the games but unable to get them to work. Also not able to create pkg files gives errors.
Since the games are not on the playstation store anymore, i guess these will not work with this exploit?

I think both of them have updates, so you could try converting from PS3_game folder to pkg, or are you already trying to convert the games?
And they being off the ps store has nothing to do with it, Scott Pilgrim vs The World works fine.

Yeah I tried converting from ps3 extracted files to a pkg with no luck other games are working ok . Just can't seem to get those going.

I wanted to play fallout as well but unfortunately looks like only skyrim has an update available according to aldo's PS3 Game Updates tool.

Yes, in fact I have both games installed and running, as an observation, I used the ps3gameconverter program without any special steps and the two worked perfectly.

I was able to get Skyrim working no problem, and Fallout 3 GOTY by manually adding updates from the normal version. However, Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition won't work no matter what I try, it always asks for a disc? How on earth did you get this running? Step by step please lol. I'm starting to think this game is just not compatible by this method, have read that it's even hard for CFW users to get this game working without the disc.

Yup skyrim isnt on psn.Mabe it will still work though if you convert the game from folder format into a pkg, since it has updates and dlc on there for it still.

I'm still searching for Fallout New Vegas but nothing

The wiki was updated, you gotta use the eboot from one of the updates.

Skyrim will work with CFW2OFW, I have it installed. DLC works too.

Major_Pothead92, glad that fix worked for you. The wiki's instruction there,
YOU MUST TAKE THE UPDATE 1.06 OF 292 MB, take the EBOOT OF THE FOLDER "UISDIR" IN THE UPDATE, AND REPLACE BY THE EBOOT OF THE GAME, EDIT THE PARAM.SFO BY THE UPDATED VERSION OF YOUR LANGUAGE. UPDATE PAGE: https://store.brewology.com/updates.php?letters=def CHANGE THE VERSION TO 1.06 AND REPLACE THE PARAM.SFO
...is not very user-friendly, so can you share how you did it step-by-step? What's the [title ID] of Fallout NV: UE you got working and [title ID] of the update you got the eboot from?

I'm trying to improve the instructions on the same Compatibility List to be user-friendly so I'm wondering if the instructions I wrote below is similar to what you did:
  1. Download manually the v1.06 (292 MB size) update/patch for BLUS30500,
  2. Using PS3GameConvert_v0.91, click YES then select the v1.06 update PKG you've downloaded,
  3. Set the destination folder of the conversion output,
  4. Choose the PS3_GAME folder from your retail disc BLUS30888 (or BLES01478 or BLES01475) ISO.
  5. For HAN: Move the two output folders made by PS3GameConvert_v0.91 to your [make-backup-pkg] directory then run [do.bat]. Use PKG Linker to move the output Debug PKGs to OFW PS3.
I read that some of the "Exclusive Methods" entered on that list were roughly translated from a Russian forum so the Engrish is hard to follow.

Fallout New Vegas - Ultimate Edition. It works with the cfw2ofw method now, someone figured it out. This is the link with more information http://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/CFW2OFW_Compatibility_List
I made some attempts using the information from the compatibility list over the last two days; I am currently installing my fourth attempt as I type this. Did you get Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition working or just standard New Vegas? Maybe I'm doing something wrong do you have a step by step? Would love to get this game working! Will update with my results soon.

Back! Unfortunately my fourth install was a failure as well. My first install resulted in the game not even appearing on the XMB, my next one told me to insert disc, my 3rd told me an error occurred, and my fourth told me to insert disc as well.
