PS2 Backup games already on HDL HDA 0.8

Hello,

I have scoured the internet and have not been able to come up with a solution.

I would like to back up games that are currently on a HDD with HDL HDA 0.8 on a ps2 fat system.

Its been a very long time since I tinkered with it. Does anyone know if the games are saved as iso files on the HDD? Can I put the HDD into an external HD case and upload to pc?

Or can I network I to the system
, either ssh or another way?

Please and thank you
Cheers

Thank you. I will look into this more in the coming days.

Theoretically, can i install/run the .elf and it will locate the games already saved on the HDD?

Thank you in advance

You must read about APA and how PS2 disc images are stored on it. In short: no.

If you want copy back disc images to PC, connect the drive to it and use hdldump or any toolkit based on it.
