PS3 Best Preventive Maintenance

Hey everybody,
I recently bought a used PS3 Super Slim (5 days ago) and wanted to know what are the best methods of keeping the console in good condition to prevent internal components damage.
I've watched RIP Felix's video on YLOD and understood that best preventive maintenance is to install Webman Mod and avoid the system settings on the fans, and my console is CECH-4003C which means that it has a 40nm rsx.
So my question is what are the optimal settings for Webman fan controller (which are also not blowing the fan at full speed) and are there any other recommendations (other than opening the console and cleaning it from dust or repasting it, currently don't have the guts or the resources to do so)

Hi, superslim dosent suffer from capacitors ylod and at least the gpu is more or less bulletproof so beside good cleaning, fresh paste and putting the console on a well ventilated aera, not much else. And for the fan settings monitor the temps and play with the settings, to suit your liking because noise perception will be different from every person but to give a idea i would said aroud 28-35 percent if the console really needs it. I hope that helps.

Thank you so much, I've already set the fan speed to 30 (kinda noisy but manageable) and keeping it in an open area. Will clean superficial dust and check for deeper dust and repaste when needed

None of the superslims suffer from the YLODs that the early PS3 models did. I don't think there is any reason to adjust the fan curve on the superslim, as the chips should be able to sustain sustain 70-80c with no major long term consequences. By cranking up the fan speed though you are shortening the lifespan of the fan though.

You are absolutely correct about the fan speed causing premature damage to the fan.
However a fan could always be replaced unlike a CPU or RSX.
Though may be unnecessary, still I find it As a step that is worth looking for if the manufacturers around that time didn't know as much as they know today about thermals.
Thank you so much for your input and I'll take putting the fan speed to system controlled once I have a more controller environment around the PS3 regarding dust and summer temperatures
