Sen enabler works on cex or DeX. I believe most that use DeX can directly sign on to psn because nothing has changed with the certs for some time.
Its always best to use some sort of protection when you sign on by disabling syscalls and what not, not cheating in known problem games , and just being respectful to the network in general.
