You are mixing stuff here. CFW enable features that are blocked or not implemented on OFW (that's what the Cobra or Mamba payloads are for).

On the other hand, homebrews can use (or not) said features provided by the payload. In this case, multiMan hasn't been updated in a long time and does not use the new features offered by the payload.

You are talking about an issue from 2017!.

I think if you just use any CFW without Cobra mode then DDA should work.. DDA was mainly supported for non COBRA CFWs as mmCM's the advantage was to rip the whole disc in ISO format.

and I think the similar feature was implemented to webMAN MOD to allow you rip contents via FTP (decrypted contents like DDA).

The preferred method on these days would be using PC Blu Ray to rip the disc then use IRD tool to decrypt it as PS3's BD may likely fail during the ripping process and its lifespan being degraded over time.

If somehow the latest version of CFWs not fully compatible with multiMAN, then use REBUG 4.46 and multiMAN 4.5x to see if it rips disc fine..

DDA grants ability to dump disc sector by sector as is directly from media, which means that produced *.iso from that is encrypted, and literally 1:1 (minus ofc hidden data with disc key etc.).

For that, can only be used multiMAN and any CFW. I don't know any other apps, including ManaGunz which allow that (it was planned feature few years ago, but if I'm not wrong, never implemented (@Zar [?])).

Ok, DDA seems to be not really useful , somehow I thought it would decrypt files on the fly I guess I was wrong -

ManaGunz, IRISMAN, multiMAN making disc images on the fly but decrypted. In normal "Cobra mode". :)

Actually, encrypted images are useless in other purpose than archiving cultural achievements vel data preservation.

xai_plugin in Evilnat CFW can decrypt images but I dunno if on the fly or permanently.

[THE ANSWER HAS BEEN REVEALED: JUST DOWNGRADE MULTIMAN TO LIKE, 4.82 & in Standard CFW whateva - WORKS EVEN ON 4.93 EVILNAT, BRO!]

AFAIR, DDA works only in mM mode, not mMCM. So you should switch it from default if you want that feature use.

I'm not familiar with BD-Video security, so I dunno.

memdump, mM, Rebug Toolbox, CFW Tools in Evilnat CFW - allow you to dump NAND(partially)/NOR(full).
Been on your place, I would dump also ERK. ;]

@nfswheel if your goal is to decrypt BD Movies or DVD. Don't bother. AACS decryption isn't supported by any homebrew. Neither region protection

@Evilnat was slightly interested in that topic but I don't think it's being worked on at all.
