PS3 BGA Hot Air station with Stand and thermocouple

Looking for some advice on a hot air station and thermocouple setup.
I do have a bga heater, and want to practice reballing on a dead xbox360. But i wanted to ask for advice on a hot air gun + stand, and thermocouples.
Looking for advice on other people's successful setups. Before i purchase this equipment.
I have T-8280 Preheat Plate for reference.

The starting line is probably not the best place to post this, but here we are LOL.

I think expert RIP Felix used to have a good setup, which I think he used to refer as a ghetto set up. Look it up.
