Hello. I have a small problem with my PS3.
The PS3 is a CECHL04 model. PAL
I have been using this playstation for years with rebug firmware. I dont know what version. I have been using it to play ps3 and ps1 games, there has never been any problems with it.
Recently, i tried to play an original ps2 disc on the ps3, but the console froze and the screen turned black. I had to unplug the system and plug it back in again to restart it.
This is happening every time i try to load a playstation 2 disc, no matter what game i insert.
The PS1 games works perfect. it's only the PS2 games that won't work.
I tried to restore the playstation to factory settings, then update the official firmware to 4.87, and then install the CFW 4.87.2 Evilnat Cobra. But i still have the same issue.
Does anybody know what the problem may be?
