PS3 Browser not supported 4.92 OFW

I have a PS3 FAT CECHL to jailbreak with evilnat but after loading ps3toolset on the browser to verify the compatibility, i get an error saying my browser isn't supported. Of course i cleared everything in the browser and i have the correct date and time set, since this isn't my first time jailbreaking, but this issue is a first timer for me. Rebuilding the databse didn't work as well as reinstalling the whole system, I even tried swapping out the hard drive. I would like to know if it's possible to fix this on OFW.

Yes, it is possible if you use a proxy server or network traffic debugger to change the HTTP request header for the user agent.

Otherwise you would need to patch the user agent Mozilla/5.0 (PLAYSTATION 3; 1.00) in webbrowser_plugin.sprx or webrender_plugin.sprx, which is only possible on CFW, qCFW or HFW with HEN enabled. Unless you have a tool that can sign sprx like an official system file, which is supposedly to be available but not publicly released.

Ok, i know how to work with the IP headers, but if using a proxy server is easier, I would want to use that. But i need to know what exactly i have to do on the proxy server, would be perfect if you could provide me with some documentation or a tutorial.

i made the proxy work with a changed header but the browser loads just a white page and keeps trying to force https. i've already tried everything i could and i'm clueless
