Hi

i' ve got a problem with my PS3.
My PS3 has no Drive/Logicboard and is in FSM. Also it has a RSOD i want to fix first.
The CFW on it is the Rogero Downgrader PUP.
Can some help me to build 2 special CFW?
First one must be a 3.55 CFW with the RSOD bypass ,the Syscon must be 9.99 an it must have the new full no BD patch to start pkg etc. without a drive. I want to install it now over the Downgrader PUP and than fix the RSOD with the special pkg RSOD fix tutorial. The RSOD should now be gone and only the problem with the Syscon (9.99) left.
The second one must be a 3.55 OFW with no BD patch to dehash my PS3 (->see wiki) or is there an other way to do that without a drive build in?

Can i do that like i think or is that not possible?

THX

you can probably do this with mfw 0.2.1. you can select any update pup with it and apply the patches. just remember to link it to the ps3 keys folder in settings or you'll get an error decrypting the pup. also, don't add any patches that are already a part of the pup such as lv1 or 2 patches (cfw pups) that already exist or you'll get an error as well. that would be my advice for you.

ok thank you

np. that's @haxxxen 's mod (0.2.1), so he will know more about its functionality. there's also a list of mfw patches on psdevwiki. several are not one of the main patches. you can do minor patches with a hex editor. they're written in the way that mfw patches things - scanning each byte one at a time, then replacing them, so you may have to patch something by copying each byte into a hex editor, then searching for the entire hex length. however, your requests fall in the realm of main patches, so they're probably in there. I haven't looked at mfw for a while despite having it on my laptop. ;)

So basically you want to be able to enable qa flag. So you can update to a 4.82 noBD CFW, correct?

Then install this: https://mega.co.nz/#!2wNjUZ4b!6VaAMs0aT-2bZaCi1ChHGO30Dv1nmbBTWjXaJpsLI7w

After that is installed, install toggle qa flag pkg, and run the app. Reboot the PS3 once and check with button combo the flag is enabled.

Then you can update to Ferrox 4.82 noBD. If you install it twice the ROS banks will be dehashed to 4.82.[/QUOTEyour link dont work btw i have rsod 3.55 downgrader is the only FW what lets me boot into xmb
