Can't reply to threads? wtf

I'm trying to reply to the previous thread that I made but I can't, because it asks me for a CAPTCHA that I can't complete because it doesn't appear! I see right below the reply field: "Please call render() on this CAPTCHA object in the view.", so I assume it's a programming error, since I can't reply in a thread using either firefox or chrome under debian.

I'll use this (due to being unable to go into profile pages of the users to send PMs, they drop me an Error - and also can't reply in this broken forum for some odd reason) just to tell @DeViL303 that his Configuration Manager plugin failed to work on 4.82 Ferrox, it blacked out my bootup and I had to reinstall the firmware! luckily I could get out of that without formatting. I'm not sure if it's due to me using a PAL console or what but nope, it just didn't like it. Sorry for the crossposting but I can't see any other way to get in touch with the users!

I've encountered this error as well. it seems to be rare and random. this error started appearing when the being logged out issue started occurring, so I suspect that they're related somehow.

what I do when that happens is just sign out, then back in again. I may have been more prone to notice it, since I post more than anyone else. ;)

@spanishnerd Its not really an error. The capcha is not supported in the inline messaging, you need the full page reply to view the capcha. (i.e. more options) or opening Reply in a new tab. This is only for new user's (Spam prevention) after a couple good post you should not have to use the capcha at all. .Perhaps the warning popup should be alerted to reflect that situation better.sorry about that..

Really @pinky that is interesting as the captcha is only for new user's with a very low post count. ..

@STLcardsWS , yeah, it's probably happened less than five times, so I assumed that, since I post the most, it would be more prevalent on me. perhaps, others haven't encountered it. I only started getting that error around the same time as the sign in/out problems. changing pages and trying to post in another thread didn't seem to affect it. maybe a full reply would fix it? I know I have some issues on temp with this too, but in that case, the bb code gets out of control with quick replies, so I typically have to use this site to make any modifications I want to my tutorials, then post them on temp. I hate to bring them up, but maybe those issues are related to the spam filters? oh, also on temp, this only happens with very long posts, so maybe high post count here is having a similar effect?

Hey, I have a question.,

how can I post a new thread? so I can ask my real question since its not related to this topic.

When you enter any sub forum, eg PS3 General Discussion, there will be a TAB that says post new thread at the top under the forum title to the right hand side.
