PS3 CECHB00 Shutdown in certain games.

Got this bad boy with $80 inside the system is clean and already serviced.
- When playing graphics-intensive games the system would shut down with 3 beeps and a blinking red light.
(God of War: Ascension, Killzone 2, PS1 Silent Hill)
- Some other games run perfectly fine for hours
(Infamous, Winning Eleven)

First I thought about the overheating issue. Then I opened up the system and repasted it with a new thermal paste. (Notice there is a small capacitor soldered beside the RSX Tokin)
The fan got a lot quieter but the system was shut down in said games.

So, I jumped into PS3toolset and got the errors.
Does this mean I have an RSX NEC/Tokin issue?

Definitely a NEC-TOKIN issue, i had the same issue and bought a super slim instead with hen, no problems. Luckily I found another CFW as well and got it on evilnat cfw cuz it was old enough.
