Hello everyone! This might not be the right place to ask this question but I don't know where else to ask because I tried asking on reddit and no one helped me, so I am asking (I hope) real ps3 pros that know what they are talking about.
So I have this PlayStation 3 CECHG04 model and it works fine, it is just the power button that is acting very strange, or maybe im just not seeing something right. I have tried to replace almost every resistor and cap on the power button side according to the service manual I found on the internet and it still does what ever it wants to do. So the problem is that it seems to turn on by its self the first time after it gets power, when I switch the power switch off and wait for like 2 seconds and then switch it to on it does not turn on by its self anymore and either I have to use the controller or a disc to turn it on, it is really annoying and I want to fix it to have a fully working ps3.
Now the real "fun" begins...:
I know it looks really bad but it was as bad or even worse when i opened it up the first time.

A little explanation about the wire that goes to ground, it seems to help a little bit because without the wire it thinks I am holding the button and will just turn its self on/off or into safe mode. When i switch the cap it does the same thing too, and then sometimes when I resolder it starts doing the same crap. There was one instance that when i soldered everything it worked fine, but backwards? It didn't turn it self on when I was holding the power button but when I released my finger from it, it then thinks im holind the power button, for me this was a real brain twister and when I soldered the wire to ground it seemed to help it but then it didn't react to my finger. Oh and there was one instance too where it reacted to my tweasers but not my finger? Literally when I touched it with my tweasers it turned on, then when I touched with my finger it did nothing.
According to the service manual the power button does not go anywhere else than the chip or maybe I am just not seeing something right, if not any help is needed and will be appreciated!
