CFW to OFW ?

i want go back to OFW stock, to flash again the process to CFW. Because i want format the complet psn and try in hope no more lag

What i need to do, that i can flash back without a brick or ban.

Possible to format and put OFW directly?
 
That will not do anything extra compared to just formatting and reinstalling CFW. It is pointless. It will not fix "lag" on psn. :)


But if you really want to go back to OFW, just install it like normal.

Any idea why my psn lag? I bought yesterday a new one with 500gb hdd, i try this too to compre. What can i do for a better ps3?

Open and clean?what more..

Edit/ i do formating now on new psn, 14 hours now, not finally done wtf??

If PSN lags it is due to your internet. I dont know of any other reason for lag.

Try fixing your "NAT Type" if you're playing FPS games like CoD
 
i read NAT1 is only for directly LAN cable, i use Wlan.......... so i run now Typ2 i think so?

how about use psn online with rebug cfw, i read peoples use two accounts on psn, why this? dont unterstand this....

need to JB the first HAN; do with another psn account? or bullshit?
i mean if i use psnpatch and webman they cant ban someone on CFW; OR IM WRONG?

WLAN is very laggy and slow, please avoid this, you likely have a wifi problem coming from that wifi module, you could try finding some wifi module mod that can extend your range and signal strength

One PSN account with two user profiles , one for online and the other for offline, you mount games or use homebrew with offline user profile and switch to online one after you mount a game so that way your history will be separated.

There are no true answers for this, you can experiment it yourself, there are only speculations.

Here's a couple of known bans

1. COD BO2 ban with CFW sycall enabled (it used to be a thing in 2013)
2. homebrew ban while online (you can easily be flagged)

The number 2 is the reason why it's better to use two separate user profiles.

if something get banned, i heard its easy to unban a CFW´ps3?

COD BO2 used to detect CFW syscalls and people got banned over this, that's why apps like PSNPatch and SENabler became a thing to use.

If you're curious, get online and run multiMAN and ask your friend to see what game you're playing.

it's easy to unban, but it costs money since you will need a new IDPS from different consoles and you will have to open a new account.

You can only activate one PSN account per each profile, so you leave one without it (Offline).

how im bit confused, i run dex, i have to enable PSNpatch before go online with R2 and triangle, nothing more to do, to be seucre?

i think i missed something at the install fro HFW to my CFW, because i cant change my 2LV to dex, everytime i see only cex in sysinf into toolbox,..... i think reinstall.... now i formated the complet hdd,in 10minutes this is done.............. completly 15hours later? wtf.-

The reason why you use PSNPatch is to minimize the risk of ban, by using two profiles you can separate your app history, so use wisely.

Don't be stupid like running PSNPatch while you're logged in.

It's for controlling your console remotely you need pc APP to interact with. People mainly use for modding/cheating in game

You can't randomly get IDPS, if that was possible, I wouldn't even bother to say it would cost money.

Here's why there's no real answer for how to go online safely with modded PS3

1. Do I use PSNPatch?
No

2. Do I use SENabler?
No

3. Do I mod online? (CCAPI, TMAPI, or PSM3API)
No

4. Do I mod offline?
I used to, I used to localize games and save / eboot edited on RPG games

5. Do I use homebrew while online?
No

6. Do I use only one profile ?
No I use two of them like I said a few times.

7. Do I use HAN?
Yes only for testing

8. Do I spoof my IDPS?
No

9. Have I spoofed IDPS?
Yes many times, mainly for testing banned IDPS for friends.

10. Do I use REBUG?
yes, some people don't feel safe due to heavy customization. They think OFW like UI makes it more stealthy and safe.

11. Do I use CEX or DEX?
Both, I swap all the time due to testing and debugging

12. Do I disable syscalls?
No. I use CFW, why would I disable CFW features?

13. Did I get banned?
No. not since 2014 (5 years)

But quick question spoofing the IDPS?
What is the the bad in that?

PSN patch, spoofs this I think and disables sys calls plus I think that it wipes your history should you have your history wiped and replaced or what ever it does?

Right doing this things can raise suspicion from sony

Spoofing IDPS is only required when you are banned, I wouldn't spoof it to protect my original IDPS.

The reason why I don't need history wiped is because I'm using two profiles to keep them separated.

even OFW users have their history sent out, deleting the legit history won't make it any safer. (better to delete dirty ones for sure).
