PS3 Chapter I - PS3 Downgrade General Information

I dump it again and i have nand0 and nand1 the same but i have one bad block on nand1 and 10 bad blocks on nand0 i will I continue or no

For nands it is usaull to have bad blocks, most of the time will not affect the downgrade unless you have errors while extracting it with flowrebuilder, try the latest flowrebuilder V5.0 which seems to solve bad blocks

but how many bad block must i have to save the console i know its at max 3 bad blocks but for this ps3 i have 1 bad block on nand1 and 10 bad blocks on nand0
and for upload images i must ask the administrator ????
 
Can anyone provide hashes on the 3.55 firmware? Or I downloaded one 3.55 firmware, but if it doesn't match a correct hash, I would be looking for download links for 3.55, which I had some difficulty finding the only link that I was able to find.
 
Since no one answered, I managed to find this myself:

I found everything I needed at psdevwiki.

Now, I tried to install this, while I had QA Flags on, tried several times, and it wouldn't go through. Each time I tried again, I used a "QA Flags Toggle" app before trying it. Kept saying it was invalid or something. So what now? Can I maybe go to Recovery Mode to restore 3.55 firmware there?

this guide is old. you can now jailbreak using the web browser and a site called bgtoolset. then you install a current cfw, enable qa flag, then downgrade.

why do want to downgrade? if it was to jailbreak, no need - just use bgtoolset. (it has not been updated to 4.89 yet, so you have to wait if you are on 4.89.

Maybe you or another moderator can edit the first post and add a note that it's completely outdated? People might run into this thread and try risky things without a real reason.

Also, just so I know - at this point is there any reason at all to downgrade to 3.55?
