PS3 Community funded hosting services

Last summer we called for donations, at first the idea was to keep the Ps3xploit sites alive for the next 3 years but we quickly realised we could extend the hosting services funded by the community to other community devs or contributors who may need it for no extra cost.

Here is a (very) short summary of the services available.
  • FTP access to your hosting space.
  • Unlimited storage.
  • Unlimited bandwidth
  • Email addresses and webmail site
  • SSL(subject to browser compatibility)
  • PHP (7.3 to 8.1)
  • mySQL
  • Regarding the domain name, you can bring your own domain name or use a subdomain of our consoleprojects.net domain.

So here's our proposal, if you have some project you wish to share online with the community and you require free hosting services, you can post in this thread and mention esc0 and/or myself.

Of course it goes without saying that dodgy/illegal projects will be turned down, this proposal is for legit contents only.
Ideally the community should take care of the project/contributor vetting process though, I do not think it wise to leave those decisions and responsibilities to just one person.

Community feedback and suggestions about all this stuff would be helpful.

Hmm I almost forgot, thanks to all donators, you guys made this possible.

Last time I've checked, the Spotify app for PS3 had only a black screen after launching it. Playback, controller and control over local network worked just fine.

If I remember correctly, there was a ~33 character URL embedded inside of the webkit browser, and I could redirect it to my own modified HTML in order to remove the fullscreen black object.

No idea if someone would want it, but it wouldn't be difficult to implement.

Legal related stuff: no tampering with DRM, redistribution of modified frontend files and pkg

If you want to post changes or pkg, I can add it to nopsn.org

What about hosting XEB+ (XtremeEliteBoot+) and downloads of homebrew, art and settings for PS2?
I have my own server located in Cuba for it, but... Cuba... people usually complains of it being down too often or having issues with it.
I will not take down mine's since people in my country uses it to avoid the pay more for international navigation (stuff here is metered), but having a good mirror for people in the rest of the world will be nice.
Thanks in advance.

I appreciate your toolset too much that I want to donate to you, eventually I will but with my personal problems against my CECHL yeah my family is kinda against modding altogether even though it's technically my PS3 I used your amazing toolset once to flash my CECHL and eventually I got my own hardware flasher too tried installing it but cutted the power supply (luckily I had my dumps before it was yknow cutted like my IDPS and PSID to spoof my new old slim cech2000a after using flash writer). I just hope the donation might give you that idea that I still support you.

Also did you see my feature request for your toolset? I asked if you could implement (from zecoxao) peek for LV2 dumping from an OFW console on your toolset

Please check conversation, it's private btw @bguerville

Should I keep my hardware flasher incase there's a power outage? alot of severe weather has been occurring where i live.
I already have CFW but I heard that people with CFW got bricked from power outages.
I live in a place where cold lasts until nearly after summer
