PS3HEN Coro PS3HEN Alternate installer is not working.

Hello. I'm trying to install PS3HEN on 4.92.1 HFW using the Alternate Installer, but during the "preparing" stage the console completely freezes and I'm forced to restart it.
What could be the cause of this?

  1. Open PS3 browser and goto http://www.ps3xploit.me.
  2. Select "PS3HEN" and then select "HEN Installer (Alternate)".
  3. After loading, there will be instructions on the screen. I have listed them below so you do not have to remember them.
  4. Close browser.
  5. Open "Remote Play" and quit immediately.
  6. Use the new icon to download and install the HEN pkg.
  7. Reboot after installation finishes. Use the "Enable HEN" icon to start HEN.

Hello Guys, I've tried like 1000000 times today to install HEN. Could you help me? Here's the list of things done:
- installed 4.92 HFW
- entered the ps3addict website, ran Alternate HEN installer - tried dozen times, either my ps3 froze on "Preparing..." or failed to install
- downloaded HEN.pkg for my firmware version from github
-set up my own webserver through XAMPP, added index and HEN.pkg, then proceeded to run installer
- made it to the installer, went to "remote Play", canceled right after, and the "Install HEN" icon appeared
- and then im stuck on the 80023300 error when i try to download HEN.pkg from my webserver
 
alternate installer is almost as old as hen itself and most recent change was in March so i doubt that it is suddenly completely broken. nothing has changed.

people only started having problems with it after the official site went down. maybe nobody was using it, you say? it is the ONLY way to install hen that is listed on consolemods.org so somebody from reddit would have complained by now if it didn't work since March.

and of course the SAME installers translated into russian work flawlessly somehow!

i'm not calling anybody a liar or saying the installer is perfect...but i don't see anything i can fix or restore. if anybody really is having trouble, i'm sorry. there is nothing i can do.

alternate installer is hosted entirely on github. it does not get anything from ps3xploit.me or any other site except github. it does not connect to github if you host it yourself. so the site being down does not effect this installer.

it does this to me too but i only have one ps3 to test with right now.

i added a new section on my site that shows how to install hen by putting 2 files on usb and then opening a hen enabler page on ps3. that page is much smaller/simpler so it rarely fails.
