I have two PS3s, a slim and a super slim, both on 4.86 HFW with PS3HEN. I just upgraded both their hard drives with new 500GB drives, and it feels nice to be able to put more of my PS3 ISOs on them, along with emulators, videos, music, and comics.
Whenever I add something new to one PS3, I also have to add it to the other one. Why? Because I take the super slim places while I leave the slim snug at home, thus I'd like them both to have equal contents. It's bad enough that I have to install certain games, make new save files, and load and organize videos two times in a row, but what REALLY does it is the comics. Since there's no cbz reader for the PS3 (Why?), I have to unzip ALL my cbz files (I have a ton of them), re-arrange them by series to avoid clutter, and on top of that, copying them to the PS3 can take HOURS because the system keeps pausing every few pages! And then I have to do it all a second time on the other PS3!
That's why I'd like to use the Data Transfer Utility. I've used it before when my PS3s were unmodded, but is it safe to use the feature when I've got HFW and PS3HEN on both systems?
