Did I brick my PS3?

I had issues with my PS3 that I tried to resolve, but now I have bigger problems.

I'm on Rogero 4.75 and installed a new HDD (and eventually formatted my old HDD on my PC).

With both HDDs it says The system software cannot be loaded bla bla bla. It says holds select and start and insert firmware 4.75 etc. When I do that it loads, then reboots and says the data is corrupted.

It does that with with both HDDs and I've tried numerous flash drives etc. Is part of the system software stored on the HDD (which I now formatted)? What can I do?

Thanks,

Carel

You are on Rogero 4.75?? that cfw dont exist! When you push select and start, do you have a pen drive conected to your ps3? If you do, what is the cfw that you have there?

try any and all of the 4.75 CFWs, if they all say data is corrupt, it is most likely you were on OFW before you changed HDDs

Try Rebug REX and if not working try Rebug D-REX. Of course 4.75. If still same error you are 99% on ofw.

Also check md5 of your pup, maybe is really corupted.
