Does changing HDD removes the cfw?

Hello everyone!, I'm planning to upgrade my Jailbroken PS3. I plan to buy a bigger HDD, once I've placed a new HDD, will this reset the ps3's firmware to default? Or the CFW(Evilnat) will still be there?

(I'm still new to this and I don't have a laptop/pc, that's why I am acting cautious with the matter of the CFW)

If your console is NOR (anything newer than CECHG) you will need to reinstall the firmware after replacing the HDD - however, if you had CFW prior to replacing the HDD, when it asks you to reinstall the firmware you can immediately use CFW again and there's no need to go through the entire jailbreak process again. Just make sure you have Evilnat CFW available on a USB disk.

When I upgraded the HDD in one of my PS3's I actually found out that you have to reinstall it. However, as @NiQ said, you can just install the CFW right away without HFW/exploit etc.

Keep in mind that Homebrews and so on are gone though.
