E3 Flasher 10001100

Hi friends,
I have a problem in E3.
I dont can make a backup.
I get the lights 10001100 and start logging ...
PS3 backup BIOS.
fail to initialize E3 Nor.

Thank you my friend again for the help.
I put a coin on the clip and i made pressure with the tool and gave all right.
Now I'm with another problem.
Every backup I do is different from other.
Eu have used a hex program to compare.
I wonder if there is any danger writing the backup on the PS3?
I did 7 backups,but all are different.
O PS3 Dump Checker can validate all backups, none contains error.
I've also updated my E3 Flasher
 
If your backups are different that mean that your connection with nor is still BAD. DON'T USE THAT BACKUPS!! Every dump should be EXACTLY the same.

I've tried eveything,
but the error still continue.
I dont know what to do.

Are you using a G clamp to put pressure on to the clip??

You can do it without a clamp but you need to put a LOT of force onto it. and the force needs to be kept on evenly for the complete time you are dumping, Not easy to do without a clamp.
 
Is this your first time using the clip? I repair mine each and every time I place the clip on. If not then it is very very difficult to get a good dump. Use a very fine point needle and ever so gently bend the contacts. This takes quiet a while as there are so many but it is good practice in doing so.

Dang that's sounds tedious..lol. I've downgraded almost 1000 nor systems with my e3 and never had to bend the pins (Knock on wood) I just bought new ones after a few hundred uses. I'd hate to have to do that every time... [emoji14]
I did have to do that a few times with 360 nand clips untill I finally gave up on those all together. Much faster to just remove for off board flashing. hehe :)

Anyone going to notice he is only comparing the dumps with each other in hxd as his validation step and not using the 3 validator tools

@baileyscream I noticed that, but he did say "PS3 Dump Checker can validate all backups, none contains error."

Regardless if hes getting different dumps every time then even if one dump pass's all 3 checks then its a bit risky to flash it isn't it...or maybe not?

Because of the solidarity of all, I managed to make the writing on PS3.
I'm already in Rebug 4.80 :encouragement: .
A memory of my console is Samsung and very difficult to be connected with precision.

Yes 1 good out of all the dumps is still risky to flash back due to the encrypted area that cannot be validated and that its a high risk that that connection to the chip is still not secure.

So you still need to get consistent matching good valid dumps

Takes maybe 5 minutes and doing so I get a good connection Everytime without needing a clamp. Rather spend 5 minutes the firdt time then to waste hours trouble shooting. Call me crazy but one and done is my prefrence.

Yeah everyone does have their own way of doing things. And when you do things over and over it gets easier and faster every time. Not crazy but it works for you ;)
Lucky for me I almost never have a connection problem with e3 clips, and never have to use clamps, or anything for that matter.. just apply good pressure when pressing on the clip when installing, that's it. I've just been lucky I guess.

I've had the same luck, I use good pressure when putting my clip on and then put some 33+ tape to secure it and pull good reads each time.

Of course whenever I replace my clip, I have to give it a manicure and shave so it will fit properly on the chip, especially the boards with the diode right next to the nor chip.

When I saw the picture in this thread with the C-clamp, I cringed just thinking of all the problems that can occur from that. :-\

Yea I wasn't trying to be a smart ass just my method that works for me was all. We all have our own ways of doing things and I prefer to spend extra time prepping then redoing. I get frustrated with myself at that point as I tend to say "Well if I did it right the first time I would not be doing this again."
