PS3 Evilnat CFW 4.87 issue

hi guys,

bout to freak out :confusion:
- recently installed 4.87.2 Evilnat's Cobra CFW on my 4.4x (i believe it was, ps3 was stored in the closet for all those years), that went succesfully....all green lights etc.
- then tried installing pkg game files with their own rap file; with the reactpsn way... the "aa" username etc
- tried via usb as well as via FTP (example game i used was little big planet 2gb +-)
- get the license error message all the time..........

then i tried doing it via rebug, the rebug installer tells me my version is not compatible for my ps3
i tried the old rebug as well as the latest of 2021, the 4.87, still the same issues...


am i missing something? or am i doing it completely wrong, ty in advance!
 
i even downgraded to "CFW 4.86 FERROX COBRA", tried senenabler, tried psnpatch and reactpsn
the latter gave me error when transforming from "aa" user to the other one

cant install rebug since its not compatible version, im rly losing it now :apologetic::apologetic::apologetic:
 
I don't think you need to use react psn anymore. You can try by putting licenses on "dev_hdd0/exdata/" or "/exdata/" on root of thumb drive. If on Cobra 8.20.

thanks for your reply, already tried that though.. uploaded via ftp to /hdd0/exdata and its on the usb stick in the /exdata folder as well........

Oh my god, renaming the RAP files to rap (lowercase) did the trick with psnpatch, in case someone is losing their heads with this as well. THATS THE FIX :D:D
