PS3 Exploit always fails (SOLVED)

The HEN exploit always fails. I follow all the instructions- set homepage to blank and close the brower and try again but it keeps saying "string not found at...." in the log.

To recap: I did install the HFW through System Update, booted into safe mode to install the System Update. So now I am stuck at the browser part where I cannot install the exploit. I even tried re-installing the HFW and clearing the browser data again. Not sure what I'm doing wrong- I followed everything in the video guide.

Run it from lan cable, set up browser homepage blank, add to bookmark only exploit page and then go straight to it. It is always work for me. Run it as http if https fails.

I'm not sure which video you're referring to, but @MrMario2011 (Mr. Mario) has good videos on the subject. his and moddedwarfare are the only two system hacking video people I'd recommend, because they update their videos. there's a lot of old videos on these subjects that have outdated information by comparison.

I have never ran it on HTTPS. When I tried it just now, I got an error. The only thing left I could try is a LAN cable. Ethernet, right? If it doesn't work then what?

Yes lan cable is ethernet.

Thanks to someone from another thread, I was able to successfully install all of it after power cycling. Thanks guys!
