External HDD working on multiple PS4s

Can an external HDD with previously installed games work on multiple jailbroken PS4 ?
Or do i have to keep the original pkg files to install them on any PS4 ?

I'd imagine that extended storage is encrypted to prevent piracy. besides, the games would have to be indexed on every ps4, which means installing them.
