Extracting hdd games off a ylod console

I have a ylod console with an hdd tied to it. I have over 100 games on the hdd. I have a sata to ide connector able to connect the sata drive to my laptop. But when I connect the ps3 it says it's not compatible. Any software out there that will read the files similar to FTP? I know the hdd is locked to the ps3 but how do we get the pc to read the hdd? I know about the root key, but the console is ylod so I can't extract the root key. Any chance of getting the game files back? Thoughts gents

Without ERK, zero chance. You should interest how to backup data before PS3 died. :P
