Fallen Knights in a PS VITA / PS TV homebrew game that was inspired by the Souls series (ie: Demon's Souls and Dark Souls). This game has been highly optimized to run on the PS VITA, with amazing 3d models, great lighting effects, and awesome aesthetics.

While it is still in early development stages, the game should be playable enough to enjoy. Please have a look at the various tabs below for more information and details.


  • v0.1 Release Statement:
    FALLEN KNIGHTS Alpha version is now public!

    The first alpha version of Fallen Knights is now available to all!

    Some info about this release:

    Fallen Knights
    is an action/adventure game set in a dark universe of demons and castles.

    The game has similar elements to the Souls games. There is a large map to explore filled with deadly enemies.

    Combat system works well, basic combo attacks and rolling are there. It is very important to lock on you enemy before going for an attack by pressing the down arrow key. You start the game with 3 health potions only, so use them wisely.

    There are no checkpoints or save options yet and all the menus are missing but I'm working on all those elements and they will slowly appear in future versions of the game.

    The game is highly optimized to run well on PS Vita. It also looks much better than expected with high quality 3d models, environments, improved lighting system with character shadows, normals + specular maps just to name a few. Let me know how well it runs for you.
    v0.2 Release Statement:
    Fallen Knights - Update 0.2 is now available!

    This update took longer than expected, but it's a big one.

    This new version fixes tons of bugs from the previous one and adds new content including a whole new map to explore!

    There is also a brand new boss, the Skull Dragon. Defeating the boss will unlock a Fog Door that leads you to a new area, the Lost Cemetery.

    You can also rest at bonfires and save game there. Resting at a bonfire will respawn all enemies.

  • Version 0.2 Changelog:
    • Added a new area. The "Lost Cemetery"
    • Added the first Boss. The "Skull Dragon"
    • You can now rest at bonfires (also saves progress and respawns enemies)
    • Added Main Menu
    • Added enemy health bars
    • Added boss battle music

    • Fixed player parrying (works on small enemies)
    • Fixed attack collisions (player and enemies)
    • Fixed sword trail to disappear if animation was interrupted
    • Fixed back-step interfering with attack animations

INSTALLATION:
  • Install the vpk on your homebrew enabled PS VITA or PS TV, preferably using VitaShell.
  • Having the reFOOD plugin installed is also recommend.

CLOSING STATEMENT:
I've been working really hard on this project and there still a lot of work needed, but it's already in a good playable state that's why I decided to share it with you.

Astounding job,as a huge fan of From and SoulsBorne Series,id gladly test this, hope the challenge is at the SOULS pace level and not for filthy casuals [emoji108]
