PS3 Fat BC crashing on a certain game

DOS

Hey ! I already posted this on reddit but I feel like here is a better place for this :
About 3 months ago, i bought a backward compatible ps3 fat (CECHC04), in great condition and never opened.
As soon as i played with it, i noticed the fans were loud. Not LOUD loud, but still annoying. So, as i am pretty experienced with taking apart electronics, I opened it up and cleaned it. It was pretty clean inside, but i replaced the thermal paste and delidded the RSX (too afraid to do the cell after hearing all of the horror stories).
Anyways, after that, it played just fine, and i managed to finish the original uncharted on it, played the godfather (ps2), and gta IV. These sessions lasted for up to almost 10 hours, the fans hardly even ramping up to the "loud" preset.
However, i started the second uncharted, and after about an hour of playing it, my system turns off. Triple beep and boom. That would mean overheating but the problem it : the fans are silent, and the air that goes out of it is warm, but not excessively (i have a superslim too, and it's about the same temps).
I checked the syscon, but nothing. The triple beep which should give an error code doesn't.
After a few redditors told me it was overheating, i decided to play a more demanding game, but after almost three hours of GTA V and about 30 minutes of TLOU, nothing happened, fans silent, and warm air.

So i'm thinking is it the game ? Is uncharted 2 specifically crashing this ps3 ?

ps: the console never had an ylod at boot

Thanks a lot ! Any help appreciated

Update since i'm seeing this just posted : i started playing uncharted 2, which crashed the console about 10 minutes in. I relaunched it and it crashed again not even after 2 minutes. So i decided to start gta v (the console would still be too hot to run gta v for long right ?) but guess what gta v has been running for 30 minutes now. I'm really starting to think it's related to the game, especially the disc ? I'm thinking buy another copy and see, even if mine is pristine.

Try this with other Uncharted games, for example 3.
Does your system flash red during the triple beep? Does it freeze for a while beforehand?
Try a different copy of Uncharted 2, or try it on a different system. You said you owned a super slim, right? Try it on the super slim. See what happens.

When the console turns off with a triple beep and flashing red light, something should show up in the syscon log. Even if you simply switch the console off using the rocker switch at the back, Syscon logs the improper shutdown. Please post your syscon error log with a precise date and time the console shut down.

Yes, I know, and that's the extremely weird thing. Take a look at that. It crashed again, but this time also on L.A. Noire, so my theory of the bad game falls apart. Rip Felix suggested it was the caps, but wouldn't it report a code ? I installed CFW to monitor the temps, and it's not an overheating problem either. I am trying to book an appointment with a repair shop to change the caps, and i'm also thinking about asking them to Frankenstein mod it (the rsx is ok, but lower temps and more reliability is always better). Here are the logs

On the superslim, it doesn't crash, i also bought the digital version, and it crashes too, but uncharted 3 doesn't. L.A. Noire crashed too so it's kind of a luck thing ? UC3 is more demanding than L.A. Noire and 2, so is gta v.

it's not just the "demanding" part, game code is totally different and they can be stressing different parts of the PPU and SPU processors... uncharted 2 could be hitting the bad spots faster, when doing some processing that Uncharted 3 is not doing.

Example:
Let's say that game A uses the SPU to decode audio, and game B uses PPU to decode audio.

Both games will play the music track, but if the SPU has a problem, game A will crash and game B will not crash because it never used the SPU.

I thought about something like that too, but in that case i'm not sure about the resolution steps, as i obviously am not going to decompile and rewrite uncharted to avoid stressing my console
