Hello, I have a problème with the ACT/IDPS Dumper, I can't dump the file. (I got this: https://imgur.com/a/RPvJyTZ).

- I installed the HFW.
- I activate the PS3 with a secondary account.
- I try ~25 times.
- I try all USB Port with all Dump path and 3 USB keys (the USB keys works and are detected by the PS3).
- I re-format my PS3 and reinstall the HFW.

And I got all time this message. Please help me.
I have a superslim PS3 (CECH-4004A)

Do you have a FAT32 (MBR) USB stick in the right hand side port? Check the USB stick is showing up in music/game/photo categories on the XMB to be sure its formatted correctly, if it shows, its fine.

Make sure you have the act/dat idps dumper page set as homepage, and close and reopen the browser in between every attempt.

Yes, my USB stick as been showing up in music/game/photo, I re-try with the act/DAT idps dumper page set as homepage and close and reopen the browser at all try (~15 times), still don't work.

I can dump on a fat and on a slim PS3. I have no access to a super slim PS3.
Here are is an extract from my notes for this task.

#1 USB Preparations
  • PC / USB device
    • Prepare a USB HDD or a USB stick formatted with FAT32 (PS3 doesn't support exFAT, NTFS or ext2/3/4).
      • Stick must be a either typcial Superdisk (unpartitioned) or partitioned with MBR (PS3 doesn't support GPT).
      • HDD must be partitioned with MBR (PS3 doesn't support GPT).
      • Recommended is a cluster/allocation size of 64 KiB. Higher values like 128 KiB will increase the time of PS3 backup creation tremendously.
      • Windows: Fat32Format https://softfamous.com/fat32format/ - fat32format.exe -c128 X:
      • Linux: mkfs.vfat -F 32 -s 128 /dev/...
    • Create the following directory for Firmware updates on it: X:\PS3\UPDATE
    • Create a directory with the actual PS3 serial number on it, to put all console related files into: X:\03-nnnnnnnn-nnnnnnn-CExxxxxxx
    • Check that there is enough free space for the tasks to do.
  • PS3
    • Remove any USB extensions like hubs, etc. as the original USB ports must be used, typically the right (most inner) USB port (/dev_usb000/).
    • Check that the USB HDD/stick is detected by the PS3 under Photo, Music and/or Video.

When it fails open that page alone and clear cookies and cache. Multiple pages open can cause failure due to memory constraints.
