PS5 Finally secured a PS5

Was talking to some guys I work with telling me it was impossible to get a PS5 at cost. Made a small bet that I could secure one at cost within a week. Well took me a total of about 4 hours to secure one. Best of all it only cost me $330 shipped to my house as those two had to pay me $100 each if I found one. I'll take it but not gonna lie I was super surprised I got one so quickly and easily. Was debating if I wanted one for Demon Souls but after the God of War preview I decided it was time. Oh and if you are a PS+ member Sony gives free shipping saving you another $30. Only have to pay your state tax fees. If anyone is curious hit me up not sure if I should post his account.

nice! a childhood friend of mine managed to get a ps5 from playstation as well. that was a couple weeks ago. he said he still hasn't opened it, waiting for tales of arise, which I think he got yesterday. I don't plan on buying a ps5 any time soon, don't have the room, and I can only afford games on one console, the switch. I might buy one once we redo the carpets and I start putting a lot of my old consoles into storage. I've already gotten some of the consoles, like a few of the minis, in a box in storage (did that yesterday). I need to get rid of my entertainment center first, since it's pretty damaged, obtrusive, and whatnot.
 
I want one, disc version. Was hoping to find one local to me but haven't had luck yet. As soon as local stores show stock and I get it into my cart, by time I get to pay screen they are gone.

Looked on Twitter and saw they were going to sell consoles later that day. Turns out that was about two hours. So I spent two hours looking for one. Really really lucky hahs

I would wait a bit for the next revision, probably they started working in it since the last day the original model entered in production
Actually... the engineer teams probably was splitted and some of them are working in the "PS5 PRON" (or the PS6)
 
Btw, a week ago has been reported a new PS5 model distributed in oceania region

Basically, this is the third revision of the motherboard, or the "third series"
CFI-10xx = the first series
CFI-11xx = the second series
CFI-12xx = the third series

By now i could not find any technical review of the changes, other than they reduced the weight, but i guess soon someone will do a teardown

Definitivelly... if i had to buy a PS5 now i would wait to get my hands on this CFI-12xx model
Is just a matter of staying alert to the reports of other people that bought it in your country, soon sony is going to update the factories to produce only this model worldwide
