PS3 Flash Writter 4.84 HFW not available

Hi everybody. I'm new on this forum, I hope I post this message in the right section.

I've a slim PS3 compatible for jailbreak. The latest official Sony update I installed is 4.84. So, I used a tutorial to install a HFW in 4.84. At this moment, I didn't notice that it wasn't the latest official update...

I downloaded "HFW_ps3xploit_4.84.2" and installed it on my PS3. Then, I successfully proceeded to installation of PS3 NOR Flash Memory Dumper 2.0.1.

The next step is supposed to be the launch of Flash Writer (on www.ps3exploit.com) in 4.84 but I notice at this no moment that it's no longer available...

So my question is : can I, at this moment, proceed to the installation of the official Sony update 4.85 and reproceed to the installation of the HFW in 4.85 at the very beginning ? Or do you have another advice ?

no need to put ofw on first just grab hfw 4.85 and install twice (2nd time from safe mode). when you finally get on cfw should install it twice as well.

Whether you install OFW from the internet on the PS3, and then install HFW, or simply install HFW twice using USB - the result is the same since HFW is in fact OFW for all intents and purposes.

Once you have 4.85 installed twice in a row, you can then proceed to using the flash dumper. Once you've verified it with PyPS3checker and you get the all clear, you can then proceed to use the most up to date flash writer for HFW 4.85.

So, to be sure to understand : I can install HFW 4.85 even if my PS3 is in 4.84 ?

Yes, there is no reason not to update to 4.85 and then trigger the exploit from there, since HFW 4.85.1 is fully exploitable using the flash writer.
