PS3 Game Patches

@LuanTeles can you share your method on how to make enb series work with gta4?

TBH, I don't remember. This was back in 2010, but when I get home, I can try to find the files. I hope I still have the game on my external HDD, because one of my game HDDs stopped working some time ago. Hopefully, it's not the one with GTA IV.

Has anyone got console working in PC FPS titles ported to PS3?
unreal tournament 3, crysis series, bioshocks, dooms, portals?

I know a few supported mouse and keyboard and im sure console access can be patched in if it's disabled.
Most of them have some form of timedemo functionality that could be used as a benchmark

more possible candidates unlocked framerates or 60fps:
https://www.reddit.com/r/PS3/comments/1arwdo8/comprehensive_list_of_all_ps3_games_with_either/

1080p ish game candidates with poor performance from digital foundry's 1080p ps3 3 part series:
Linger in Shadows
Full auto 2
Marvel ultimate alliance
Sacred 2
Gt5
Motorstorm apocalypse
LEGO Star Wars - The Complete Saga
Okami (needs an fps unlock)
Splinter cell trilogy (turn off 720p in XMB, chaos theory is worst)
-this one is interesting, the game will run at 720p unless 720p is disabled from XMB, then it will resort to 1080p and run poorly, especially chaos theory. I wonder if there are any more games that behave like this
Crysis can be unlocked on the config file, Bioshock Infinite has an option to unlock framerate (it switches off v-sync), Doom 3 has speed tied to framerate so better keep it as it is, Portal 1 and 2 may be able to be unlocked since they keep proper speed in the various stages of double-buffering they have. about Unreal Tournament 3, there's a patch but it depends on vblank (that you can't change on PS3 as far as I know).
now about the 1080p titles, Gran Turismo 5 has a fps patch and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory has as well though Chaos Theory runs at double speed when it's running at 60fps

Alguém consegue testar um pacther de 60fps no shadow of the colossus? Ele roda cravado nos 30 fps más poderia rodar a 60 fps, eu sei que pode ser um trabalho difícil más só queria saber se é possivel. Obrigado pela atenção (:

Can anyone test a 60fps patcher in Shadow of the Colossus? It runs at 30fps but could run at 60fps, I know it might be a difficult task but I just wanted to know if it's possible. Thanks for your attention (:

(I managed to apply the FPS patch to The Last of Us(1.11) using Artemis through my phone. I will provide the code below:)

I've created a repository on GitHub to start porting the 60 FPS patches to the Artemis Engine!

Aldo's latest webMAN supports auto-apply for Artemis patches, so I'll create a PKG to take advantage of this feature and execute it on boot without any user interaction.

Feel free to make pull requests and submit code :)

Resistance 3 60fps patch. Also there's Lost Dimension 60fps patch.
There's one I tried and didn't work that was Battlefield 3 60fps patch, I don't know if I made some mistake or not. At least while applying the patch the game kept running, so it's safe to say the structure was correct.

Hi, I have been redirected here. I have questions concerning Unreal Engine 3/3.5 games
Most of them that I have installed on my SSHD do have the same files that we do find on PC. Many of them do have settings concerning resolutions, framerate caps and so on. What is the best guide concerning modifying these .ini files? I would like to unlock the framerate on my titles such as Specs Ops, The Punisher No Mercy or Unreal Tournament 3
I do modify the files according to what I know and so far nothing seems to work because there are many .ini files with repeated commands accross them except RAGE once I've enabled VSYNC

I'd like very much to uncap the framerate and set 1080p for the Mass Effect games - thanks

Honestly it would be better if there was a better format because artemis one is pretty awful lol, but I will try to find some time to convert my RPCS3 patches (that work on PS3) to artemis format.
RPCS3 FPS patches that I am aware they work on PS3 (Doesn't mean game will reach above 30 FPS):
Code:
Dragon's Dogma
Rambo: The Video Game (Needs to be applied on boot)
The Orange Box
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Breaks XMB)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Kamen Rider: Battride War Genesis
Kamen Rider: Battride War
Kamen Rider: Battride War II
Kamen Rider Summonride!
Resident Evil HD
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil Revelations (6 and Revelations 2 may introduce stuttering)
Lost Dimension
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Bloodbath
Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den
Rogue Warrior

I'd like to try this out but was lost after the first step. Can anyone help out a bit?

I was able to access ps3 mapi via PC but since artemis is not working out for me(always hangs) any other method that might work to apply the patches? I use apollo save tool.

Trying out the last of us 60fps.

We want to access PS3MAPI for the value editing. On a pc, phone or tablet put "ip address the console is connected to"/home.ps3mapi. If you wrote it correctly it will send you to the page (otherwise it gives an error). Now go to Processes Commands and in Address paste the memory address that has the values you want to change and click on GetView attachment 43002
The next page will show all the hex values corresponding to the memory addresses. For the most cases we will just have to change the 1st 2 or 8 values

View attachment 43003
For the Skyrim Legendary Edition, the address to search is 8edb64 and the values to change is f8651c60 where you have to change it to f8051c60.

I followed the steps outlined here and Im kinda confused. I am using a ps3 super slim with HEN 4.91, trying it out on TLOU. Don't want to purchase the game on PS4 just for the higher fps in game.

I am unable to show the game on ps3 mapi, how do I do that? Wanna make sure I am editing the correct values.
Once I search for the address, when you say we need to change the byte, where can I find it? Here is what I have on my browser.

I think I just need to edit values of the first address, is that right? or do I have to do it for the next 2 or 8 addresses?

So guys, I have been taking a closer look into it, and I have noticed that on these patches there are some types of "pre-code" (id?) on each one of them. What I mean by "pre-codes" are be32, be16, byte, bef32... I am thinking that these patches only work on this pattern (
0
name
0 xxxxxxx yyyyyy
#
) when the "pre-code" is be32. Am I right? if so, anyone knows which patterns would fit for each one of the others?

Thank you guys.

That is data type, be32 is 32bit big endian, be16 is 16bit big endian etc. The first one is 4 bytes long and the other 2 bytes long.
