hmm...I'm mostly a fan of jrpgs. western rpgs just seem so overwhelming to me, because there's so much to do.

I'm at the final dungeon in final fantasy vii of the switch. I beat the game as a kid, but I remembered close to nothing, so I got stuck in multiple areas.

I didn't have an n64 until several years after it was discontinued. oot is a phenomenal experience. I borrowed my friend's system and game, and beat it. I've also beaten the one on the 3ds. majora's mask, though, was a bit frustrating for me, since you had to do all this stuff in like three game days. I don't like games with time limits of some sort. it doesn't give you time to explore anything.

Never played any of the Zelda games. Years ago I bought a friend of mine the limited edition of The Wind Waker for the GameCube, and it had a bonus disc with Ocarina of Time on it, if memory serves. I sort of feel like I'm missing out, but then there's still the Phantasy Star games for the Mega Drive which I've never played either but have for the PS3 lol

phantasy star is probably on the ps4. I know that sega released part 1 as sega ages on the switch, and there's 2-4 on the genesis collection. I have both games. part 1 is pretty brutal.

if you mean online games, pso was my only stint online. people stealing each other's weapons and meseta. it was hilarious especially when it got so hacked that people were killing each other with restore spells. that's when I stopped online gaming entirely. I don't want to play with a bunch of cheaters.

@Coldheart2236 , btw, I've been playing phantasy star iv mostly. I'm stuck on this one quest where I'm supposed to find a missing pet. I haven't progressed in the game anymore, 'cause I don't want to miss out on whatever the reward is for completing that mission. I did beat ps4 long, long ago, but I remember nothing. I beat ps3 as well. ps2 -- the last boss is impossible even on max level from what I remember. lol

Currently mixing it up a bit! Thankfully most of these are chapter or some kind of level based game, so it's easy to find a stopping point and switch it up.

Vita:
- Root Letter

Xbox 360/One X:
- Condemned: Criminal Origins

Switch:
- Astral Chain
- Spyro the Dragon
- Untitled Goose Game

I've been giggling constantly while playing the last entry today. :excitement:

Yeah, I've got the Mega Drive Ultimate Collection for PS3. It's called something slightly different in America, but it's basically the same collection I think. Yeah it has 2-4 and it also has the first Phantasy Star as an unlockable game. My brother used to play IV quite a bit and I thought the music was great.

not sure if it's unlockable on the switch but probably not if they're selling the sega ages version too. I read that dragon quest xi on the ps4 had the first dq game as unlockable when you beat the game. however, square-enix is now selling part 1-3 of the cellphone version remake. it will be on sale the day dq xi is released. must be greed on the part of these devs.

how is astral chain? I've been thinking about getting it since it's from the people who did bayonetta.

Oh man, Astral Chain is FANTASTIC! I've played both Bayonetta games through on Wii U and I like this more than the Bayonetta series. This might be one of the best games I've played on the Switch. It's really pulled me in as well, most days I multitask while playing games but this is one of the few I prefer to play undisturbed. Definitely give it a shot if you've got a Switch!

@Coldheart2236 I've got both Condemned games already! Had them for a while, love the first and have played through it at least 5 times. I figured I would fire it up again as spooky season is coming up!

I might even play through Condemned 2 once I'm done just to revisit it. From what I remember, it was.... Not a sequel people were happy with.

I might have to wait until next month to get it. my computer has some sort of hardware problem, so I need to fix that first.

Been replaying RDR2 on the xbone lol. Can't believe it's almost been a year since it launched. Sandbox of the decade for me lmao.

Also been trying to finish off my platinum for Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition on the ps3. Started playing Soul Reaver again too. Might run through the whole LOK series again around the time the holidays come.

I didn't mind it; but yeah I remember it was met with mixed reception when it was released. The level with the bear and the wintery forest cabins was a great level, and I liked the fight club mode as well lol.

I've got both on the 360, and the first one on PC with Steam so I might start a new game on it myself to save me digging out my old 360. :)

@MrMario2011 , I ended up buying astral chain. I haven't gotten to play it yet. I just started dragon quest, the original. I'm really liking the game, but it's difficult to know where to go. I have an idea of where to go, but the enemies massacred me. I've since grinded to level 15, hoping to take them on now. I have like 30,000-40,000 gold, which I put in the bank. the game is very enjoyable, but one thing that needs to be corrected is the choppiness. it's not smooth when you're walking almost as if there's a split second delay while the game updates the picture on the screen. I haven't tried dq 2 or 3, which I also bought. they may suffer from the same problem. I read that the ones the switch got (not sure if they're on other platforms) were from the cellphone remakes. the enemies look really nice, especially the gold golem (whom I got all that money from).

Condemned 2 sucks and i know how great 1 was.

I plan to go through Bioshock trilogy as i only played the first levels of bio1 and 2.

Last game i played b4 i fucked up my ps3 was singularity it was really good!

GTA 5 (Just because I like to run around beating people), Skate 3, and just started MGS Portable OPS last night. It's playable on PS3 but I'll probably just use my Vita for that one. I bought Fallout 3 the other day but I haven't had had a chance to play it again.

Lol I was replaying Fallout 3 a few months ago, damn game goes straight to hell once you start Brotherhood of Steele. Incredible glitches and lag lmao. Even with all the autosaves off and all that. Was having a blast with it up until that point lol. Bethesda totally robbed the console consumers with that one lol.

I could never get into fallout. I've been trying to get into ni no kuni, but the battles seem slow and I hate the battle music. the game is gorgeous though. I was going to get pokemon next month, but if I don't really like the battles in ni no kuni, I don't know if I'll like pokemon.
