PS3 Get game audio sound from Headset Bluetooth & USB (not only in chat)

Hello. I'm on ferrox 4.87. I would like to try to do the manual installation but I can no longer find the patched file to put in dev_blind / sys / external (dead link). where can i find the file? to restore the settings, just reinstall the last ferrox?
You can just reinstall your CFW

Any word on CFW 4.87 update? I can follow a tutorial if its available too. New to modding
download this patched file HERE.

if you have webman, put it in dev_hdd0/tmp
(if you have problems with it, delete the file)

if you do NOT have webman, put it in dev_blind/sys/external
(if you have problems, reinstall your CFW)

I drag and dropped the file, im on evilnat 4.87. Also made sure I outputted the audio to my USB headset, mic works but no audio.

Still doesn't work. I also do not see a dev_blind directory

yes, but the installer that Louay made for cfw will only work up to 4.86.

instead, download this patched file HERE.

thank you so much, if it weren't for you, I don't know what I would do (sorry for the bad English, this is a translator)!

Hey guys, first of all I want to thank every developer for putting in the work for making this a reality.
I am currently on 4.82 Rebug and I've got an external USB Sound Card that works partially.
I am however getting issues and was wondering if there's a way for me to change the sample rate/bit depth?
This Sound Card uses 16 bit integer 44.1K/48K and it seems that the settings seem to not match up.
I'd be happy to take a look at the the code (and possibly little help with setting up the compiler toolchain)
Thank you very much in advance!

we don't have the source code. it was a hexedit kind of hack.

Is this or can this be updated for HEN 4.88 ?

What do you mean exactly ? i use my headphone with no problem

Basically the audio quality is really really bad. Sounds like your listening on crappy earbuds from like 2005. And i have "studio" (if u can call it that) quality bluetooth headphones. So i shouldnt have this issue.

yes! see my thread HERE. i made pkg's for all hfw versions. i also have an online installer for 4.88 only.

this is true for all bluetooth audio devices when using this mod (or the cfw one). the way the mod works is that it switches the game sound and the voice chat sound channels. the voice chat channel is mono (not stereo) and a lower bitrate. usb audio devices sound much better using this mod. sony never meant for game sound to travel over bluetooth so this is the best we can do.
