you can use the microphone yes. read these instructions and check the settings:

"To change from TV speakers to your device, goto "Audio Device Settings". Change "Output Device" to your bluetooth device. Make sure you select "OK" when done! If you press circle, the changes will not be saved!

If your BT is turned on but there is no sound in game, press PS and goto "Accessory Settings", "Manage Bluetooth Devices", highlight your device, press triangle, and select "Connect". You may have to exit game, connect, then start the game again..."

no. you can use a wireless keyboard that has a USB dongle.

yes. it is impossible to make it better currently.
 
I don't have original ps3 headphones, but bluetooth ones that you buy everywhere, and it gives me an error, my question is: do non-original headphones work

yes, but not all of them work.

the real sony (pulse) headphones do not need this hack, but they are costly.

"name brands" may have a better chance of working but cheaper "off-brands" can also work. there are so many devices that no one bothered to start a compatability list...literaly thousands of devices to test...

i have tested a nice soundbar, cheap earbuds, and a few small speakers. the soundbar had no problems. the earbuds have to be deleted and paired again evertime i start ps3. one speaker did not work. the other one said "connected" but ps3 said that pairing failed.

Louay's pkg's have not been updated for newer firmwares.

For CFW: download this file. if you use webman, place it under dev_hdd0/tmp and restart. if not using webman, place it under dev_blind/sys/external/ and restart.

For HEN: see my mod HERE

Gave it a shot but it makes my PS3 crash back to XMB without any errors every time I try to launch a game.

Hi. You are brilliant - thank you for this I got it working with my Ps3 with HEN.
Only thing, it does not work for my ps2 games - is there any way I can get this working
(it looks like every time I start a ps2 game - the bluetooth connection drops).

no, sorry. it does not work for ps2 even with cfw. when ps2 game is played, the ps3 reboots into a different mode than normal. the reboot kills hen and the mod with it.

ps2 can't use usb at all (except on cech-a and cech-b models) so it will not work.

you can use a device that changes the RCA connectors to bluetooth for wireless (some of these also have a headphone jack). you have to enable an audio setting on the ps3 called "multiout" if you use hdmi with those devices.

i can not reccomend any specific device.

not needed. it is included with hen, but you must turn it on. goto HFW Settings at top of Network column on xMB. look for libaudio on/off. (restart is not needed.)

it is part of hen again. no need for this or my old mod. goto hfw tools on the xmb, look for toggles and then libaudio.
