Hello
I have PS3 Slim CECH-2504B with 0C date code (cfw compatible). I decided to delid CELL it in order to make it very quiet. Unfortunately I have scratched it and now it doesn't boot.
It has GLOD (I suppose) because when I press the power button the green light appears, fan starts running and thats it. It doesn't shutdown by itself. I can't get to safemode. When I hold the power button for around 10 seconds it beeps once and just shutdowns. There is no power on USB ports, no hdd light flashing, no controller sync (but it turns on from controller). The only error code at that time in SYSCON was:
I sent it to a professional repair shop that specializes in BGA repairs and micro soldering. They repaired the scratches and even reballed CELL and RSX. Unfortunately they couldn't repair it. I can't really check how well they did their job because broken trances are covered in solder mask which is really hard to look through with cheap digital microscope. Balls under CELL and RSX look fine. Now when I check the syscon it looks like this:
During this test I had unplugged hdd, disk drive and BT/WIFI antenas so maybe thats why there is a difference. A0801200 is problably because they didn't put thermal compound between ihs and die. I really don't understand error A0805FFF.
Is there anything I can do to fix it? I really love this console and I want to be sure if I did everything there was to save it.
