PS3 GLoD E model fix ideas (Bumps confirmed).

So I was playing SC2 on my E fat ps3 when it Green lighted and shut off when I exited to the XMB. Thought it was maybe some kind of hardware disconnect or something, but no, put a moderate amount of pressure on the RSX bracket and she immediately output video from a GLoD black screen.

So, I don't want to reflow, because I believe it wears out the rest of the board components prematurely. I was thinking of putting thicker high thermal conductivity pads on the CELL and RSX chips give the system the pressure it needs to function, but I don't want to unevenly bend the board. Any ideas a cautionary warnings would be appreciated.

Now this is interesting, you say you put pressure on thr RSX side of the board and it booted? This might actually solve a question that I haven't conclusively been able to answer. I have been able to revive a GLOD console by doing a variation on naked snakes eraser mod. Now the question I havent been able to answer is "is it the pressure on the CPU that's now causing the console to boot, or does the CPU pressure some how reconnect the BGA issue on the RSX side of the MB?"

So please feel free to look at my tutorial, if you could follow it and get a boot it would answer a lot of questions. If you can't get a boot then it confirms some console have CPU BGA issues.
