In this simple guide I willl show you how to fix 80010007 error:
1-connect your ps3 to the internet. (make sure debug is disabled and you didnt do something that will cause a ban).
2-update your game.
3-run the game.

And that's it, lol. I confirm this working on my ofw 4.82 superslim with a psn game.
 
This can be one of the most common errors, and also one of the simplest lol.
I'll add your simple instructions to my troubleshooter, with credit of course. :P

I'm having the same issue. Game is already have the latest update.

I thought about it and I deleted the game and uploaded it again. But I tried without installing the update file. Same error. Then when I looked at the information, the game was already showing in the latest version when I did not upload the update file. I guess the update file is not deleted when I delete the game?

Go to the Game Data Utility. And delete the update from there

Nothing. Reinstall the game wtih a different pkg and the same error. Updating in the xmb and boom. Problem is when i install blu ray game it's saying you already have the latest update but i'm not.

this is, maybe, caused by the fact the game was never updated, try the bluray version...
 
Wrong. Game has big update (about 900MB). First. I tried signed pkg from bluray image = 80010007 error. Then i tried psn version (without patch), same effect. I picked "search for patch" option, game was updated and run perfectly. So... try install bluray version game without patch and after that update from game option (i cant confirm if this works coz i deleted game image from my PC hdd).
 
I'm not sure if this is related, but I am able to confirm this:
Some of the games I've installed, I've downloaded additional updates from PSN directly on the PS3, such as Metal Gear Solid - The Phantom Pain. (I know, I've been mentioning this game alot lately xD)
I had to download additional updates in order to play the FOB Missions & play Metal Gear Online. Once you've successfully got the game installed, any additional DLC or updates you download directly will work without them being resigned. (As long as they are legit, if you download them from other sources, then they will require resigning.)
I've had to do this with quite a few games.

I've noticed that alot of games that are on disc will have an update. They'll re-release the game in digital form, and won't have an update. If there is updates available on the earlier version, they usually apply those updates to the re-release so there won't be no need to update them. This isn't the case for all games, mind you. (Red Dead Redemption still requires an update either way, as the original un-updated version has game-breaking glitches on both disc & digital versions.) My point is that resigned/converted games will work with legit updates/DLC that gets downloaded to them after installation without resigning if you get them from PSN directly.

my PS3 Zone of the Enders HD stopped working (this error code) by itself ALONE
I didnt touched it since the last time (2 years) when i installed/updated/verified it was working
its only tonight i got this error code when i wanted to play this game.... ?!
