Thanks for pointimg this out to me. Yes the original dump was done by ps3xploit. As the story goes, the person who had the ps3 before me dump their nor, patched it and then tried to install a CFW. Thats how the brick happened. Ive got the original dump (tested good) done all the steps on the guide... Apart from the byt swap... Will try this tomorrow and update this post.

Hi there this info saved me from a bin job which is great can i just go back and do the jailbreak again now im on 484 fimware correct me if im wrong it has fix my brick problem but were now on ofw 4.84 right ? I used mr marios jailbreak any ps3 4.84 or lower and bricked after error jouring patching then switched off power thanks in advance folks.

it was bricked by using flash writter on it
I get backup (dump.hex) from nor nand idps dumper
can i use this to reflash ps3
it is good file
is it necessary to get backup using e3 flasher
or
it is necessary to convert hex file to bin

- byte reverse your dump.hex dump file.
- rename your reversed dump as bkpps3.bin
- flash it to your ps3 using an E3 flasher.
 
Hello my ps3 slim cech30043 got bricked
So everything was going fine then I try cobra cfw system just froze and closed itself
Then when I try to open it first red dot appered second time I pressed green dot appered and then in 2 minutes it closed itself
How can I fix this

You will need a hardware flasher like the E3 flasher to save the console. Sounds like a full Hard Brick
 
hi guys , can you help me?
i have an ps3 superslim 4308c, and i had bricked them with Han v2 ofw 4.82
that resulted into a brick.
how i can repair them
 
tristate to groud is not working ...... removed ICs and reprogammed but nothing is working ..... Still my ps3 Show red light ..green light and power off

Thats the purpose of the "tristate" point, when the tristate is connected to ground the PS3 cant load the flash contents (so it doesnt loads the firmware files)... and the boot process stops in a black screen (but the PS3 doesnt turns off)

In that state you can access flash contents (with a hardware flasher) to read and write his contents safelly

The point is... if you dont do this... at boot time there are other components trying to access the flash contents, and that signals are going to cause interferences with the hardware flasher

In other words... if you try to read flash contents with the hardware flasher at the same time there are other components reading flash what you are going to get is garbage data
And if you try to write... you are going to write garbage data

Can u identify Tristate point in Ultra Slim Ps3?
