See in the package_link.xml it has a line like this:

<Pair key="content_id"><String>UP0100-PKGLINKER_00-PINK1000DEVIL303</String></Pair>

You need to put content ID there.

Maybe you can use minweb, for me it was crap, would only serve icons and was super slow even at icons.

should i just create one?and if i do can you tell me what to put in there
i have han toolbox 0.2 installed i have a pkg ready to install named Large_Package.pkg

That is an upcoming feature, you only have one half of it so far, you need the PC app to go with it

Or you can put pkg link into browser, and then download to USB and then install pkg from USB

It would mean using package manager still yes, I just mentioned that you can use the PS3 browser to download pkgs from sites if you have the link and type it in, only to usb though.

Yes, or what you can do is, use the package_link.xml but instead of hosting package yourself, you enter http address on remote server, you just need link and Content ID
