PS5 HDMI/4K

A friend of mine has had his HDMI port repaired recently. Since getting it back, he cannot get the PS5 to display 4k with a message in settings saying something along the lines of "cant display rgb due to 2.0 limitation"

Does anyone have any idea what could be the issue...
Wasn't sure if it was the repair or something with the TV or something else.

Without showing us high res photos of the repair no-one here can answer your question on whether it is a poor repair job or some other issue.

You will need to open the console and find out what the repair shop have done before deciding the next move.
