Hello PSX Place.
I'm chiefhunnablunts, or chief for short. I've been interested in console gaming for a number of years now, and have recently begun to repair PS3s for the mean time. Previously I was a cook in the food industry in an upscale restaurant. I was even apprenticing to become a chef. However, because of ahem recent events, this has been put on a standstill. This is fine, as people are resilient creatures.
I've taken up Playstations mostly because I received a faulty CECHE MG from a friend while I was helping him move. I replaced the NEC TOKIN caps, and was able to get it to boot again. I was pretty pleased and proud of myself, and kind of decided to maybe keep myself preoccupied and make a quick buck off of repairing YLOD BC PS3s.
Anyway, I hope to learn more about this field as I continue to traverse it.
