Help for jailbreaking the Ps3

HELLO EVERYONE! I've been using the ps3 with the true blue dongle since a very long time! I've off from gaming for a while now and haven't used my ps3 but recently when i saw that we dont need the true blue dongle anymore and can play games without it! So i was hoping somebody could help me out with the process of jailbreaking it! Im on 3.55 version slim ps3 and ive tried kmeau version but it lags a lot and the games get stuck in between and some games say they need more den 4.21 for it to work! So please help me out in this! Thanks in advance
 
Grab the latest EvilNat 4.89.1 and install that. Format a USB drive to FAT32 MBR with a 64k cluster size. Insert to the far right port and choose update from storage media in settings. Bam you are done and have a current firmware system if you wanna go online. Man you are in for a world of surprise if TB is what you have been using. Message me if you need any more help bud

Current firmware version as in 3.55? (right now im on 3.55) and yeah I've been using true blue dongle only since so lonf ! I dont play on psn network or any multiplayer games too
 
And directly on evil nat 4.89.1 wont be an issue right? And the main thing is the lag that im facing while playing! After Every second there is a lag (in kmeau version and even multiman takes a hell lot of time just to load! The whole ps3 has slowed down

The worst part being that all my games were on an external hdd which is now dead and i can't find games anymore easily the way we used to get the games before! Do we still need to replace eboot fix and package files for the game to work?
 
What slowing down, what exactly do You mean? Nothing works wrong on 3.55 i.e Kmaew back then. Very good CFW in his time. Maybe You have broken databases... TrueBlue was a real shit to be honest.

If You have pirated games, some will stop working (i.e all for TrueBlue) until resigning them. We don't doing today any resigns, just copying games to disc image form directly from games. 100% game compatibility, no bothering with "fixes" etc. It is the past now. ;]

As in i already formated the hdd once by updating it to the official 3.55 ofw and den by installing the kmeau cfw but once i install the kmeau it lags a lot dont know why!

Works for a second lags for a second in case of fifa 19 and even when i select the system setting in the menu it takes a while just to open that and even multiman takes forever to open!

Wow so basically when i download a game i just need to copy to the games folder and voila that's it? So do we use multiman or something else now?,
 
So then Your assumption was wrong if You didn't back to TB CFW and lags disappeared. ;]

Check HDD health, at least S.M.A.R.T report (on PC of course).

BTW: Since You back from a hibernation period, some changes and discoveries has missed You. Like i.e creating image of internal flash, dumping EID Root Key and IDPS. Three musketeers which can save Your life and data one day.

If the hdd is fine should i directly go with the evilnat latest version? Can u provide a link for the same or a step guide tutorial something like that!

Parth bahi just upgrade to 4.88 OFW see YT on how to install CFW (for your easiness) and then if you want you can upgrade to 4.89 CFW.
Also if your main motto is just to play game backups then its best to install HEN as its the easiest and only takes a max of 5 mins.
Alternatively, ek dukan par jaake karale woh apne aap sab kardenge aur games bhi load kardenege :congratulatory:.

Matlab pehele 4.88 ofw daalu and fir 4.89 cfw daalu right? Haa me main to last of us and god of war khelnea Chahata hu! Dukan mumbai me kaha hai any idea?

Obviously never update to OFW. It makes Your life harder as exploiting above 3.55 demand internet connection and exploit site which do the job... Just update CFW in the same way as OFW.

Installing any CFW is pointless until You solve the "slowing down" issue. So first, check if HDD isn't dying.

Your welcome. On 3.55 or below, user can just install any update package, whatever it is OFW or CFW. Past this fw version, the flash patch is required so the only things left are hardware flasher or web exploiting. So there is no reason to go to OFW if someone have already installed any CFW in any version.

HEN is hardly limited and annoying to use, so it is option mostly for models which cannot install CFW or want relatively safer online activities.
