PS3 Help - How do I add GXEmu configs?

Hi there!

I have several CECHC03s, and I'd like to run a few games that usually don't work well (few harry potter games, and R&C).
Can I please get some help on where to start? I downloaded scetool, HxD, the config itself.

My first questions are:
-How do I make .ELFs from .SELFs? I tried to use Fail0verflow's stuff, but I wasn't able to compile it, I'm not really into C programming. I also can't seem to extract it with Aldo's tools, as I get the following error:
Code:
C:\Users\username\ps3tools\ps3tools\tools\scetool\self_fix.bat "ps2_gxemu.elf" "ps2_gxemu.self"
scetool 0.2.9 <PRIVATE BUILD:naehrwert> (C) 2011-2013 by naehrwert
NP local license handling (C) 2012 by flatz

[*] Loaded keysets.
[*] Loaded loader curves.
[*] Loaded vsh curves.
[*] Error: Could not find keyset for SELF.
[*] Error: Could not decrypt header.
ERROR: illegal input file format
no key found
perror: No such file or directory
The system cannot find the batch label specified - finish

Done.

-How do I add and edit the necessary pointers?
-Will I have to downgrade from 4.91? I saw a lot of stuff only applies to older versions of the firmware (speficically because of "Extend config table by 50% in ps2_gxemu")

Hi,
soon it will be possible to do it in automated way, we are working on that currently.
Follow the threads/release-ps1-and-ps2-emulator-mods.45083 and wait for upcoming updates!

Dunno about the config, but you may not have the self keys in your keys files. The keys are the same from 4.25 to now iirc, but each firmware version is separate in the files. I don't remember if that has a bat or not for adding keys, but it would make it super easy. I know mfw has such a bat to add 4.91.
