PS3 Help, leave MultiMan Desktop Mode

When i was playing with the MultiMan Settings i enabled the option to use it just in Desktop Mode or as a File Manager... i can't remember what that option was called exactly.

Now when is start MultiMan it automatically starts in mmCM and i can't leave the Desktop. double clicking the Games Icon does nothing. and pressing L1, L2, R1 or R2 does nothing as well.

How can I enter the MultiMan settings now? I already tried reinstalling MultiMan on top of the current Installation. Is there a settings file I can remove or edit to invert to stock settings?

when your in multiman desktop mode press start and select together and it will revert back to normal

that did not work unfortunately
it just restarts mmCM but it's still in this mode
