PS3 Help needed, stuck on Rogero 3.55 Downgrader unable to toggle qa

I just recieved a PS3 Slim (CECH-2503A) from an ebay seller, which has Rogero 3.55 Downgrader firmware installed on it, I would like to return it to stock.

The first thing I tried to do was install the latest OFW (4.89) through recovery mode, this did not work as it said I needed firmware 9.99 or higher. I then read that somthing about toggling qa with a button combination in the network settings section (L1+L2+L3+R1+R2+D-Pad Down), but this combination does nothing for me.

I found a thread on this site which describes a similar problem but frankly, I am not very knowledgeable about this and was unable to work out what exactly he did to solve the problem.

I would very much appreciate if someone here could help me through the process of getting this machine back to a stock firmware.

Install any CFW 3.55 over it like Rebug 3.55.4 or 3.55 Kmeaw or 3.55 Rogero v2. After that, You will be able to install higher CFW or enable QA and install any OFW if You want cripple that way Your opened console.

In addition, I strongly suggest to at least dump Your IDPS and ERK keys, plus dump flash image before You install OFW. Even if You really want to stay on OFW, those will increase value of Your console eg. in case of selling it. First allowing You to resign saves, second HDD access outside PS3 and last it is rescue data in case of brick or flash corruption.
