HEN enable fail!

I have a repeatable error on my superslim with latest HFW & HEN. It concerns enable HEN after console start.
To enable HEN I have to time pressing X on enable, to when my console reports "you are now logged in" (to ps3 account.)
If I try to enable before or after this report on screen HEN fails to enable and reboots.
After reboot if I try to enable console hangs and requires power off complete.

But if a press X on "you are now logged in" report HEN enables everytime.

I've even tried a full HD delete, and reinstall of firmwares as per recommended instructions. And the same thing happens.

HEN will only enable if I press X on "you are now logged in" report..

If I wait 5 seconds or more it fails and reboots.
 
Try the link in my signature it may help. But I had a sort of issue like yours. I had to delete HEN from my system. Off dev_blind and dev_hdd then a fresh install and I have been issue free since. I do have issues with HEN toolbox installed so I had to get rid of it. Been this way since going to 4.85
 
You could try going back to an old version of HEN. I've concluded based on my own testing that 2.1 / 2.1.1 are solid if you just intend on simple use (backup manager + FTP. No fan control / webman)

I'll try a few things this weekend and see what happens..
They need to turn off the auto HEN reboot after fail. It would be much better as an option.. Because only turning console off helps, rebbots make things worse.

Try turn off auto PSN login.
 
Just an update, switched off psn auto login, now I don't have to time HEN enable, it has worked every time I've enabled HEN.

I've also noticed HEN toolbox messing up HEN, it requires and installation of something, then a reboot, then HEN fails..
So I've also removed HEN toolbox..
Though I do love some of its features, like extra off and reboot options, disabling icons on main page etc.
