PS3HEN HFW 4.88 Brick my console

I have a PS3 ofw 4.88 try to install the latest hfw to be able to then install HEN, when loading the update to 100% it turns off as when it goes into recovery to finish installing, in this case the screen went black for a long time little while. I turned it off and nothing, when I turn it on it stays on but it doesn't give an image and I can't enter recovery mode. Only on, to turn it off I have to keep the button pressed. What is the possible problem? I don't know if it's a brick, because apparently in a brick it always turns off, in this case it doesn't turn off.
 
Try to boot without HDD, if you see a warning message displayed in screen it means is not bricked
Probably the problem is in the HDD, in the firmware installation process there is a point where the console is decompressing the contents of PS3UPDAT.PUP ---to---> HDD, then it does a soft reboot and starts writing that files from internal HDD ---to---> FLASH (a physical flash, and a virtual flash)

Your PS3 seems to went trapped when reading HDD so most probably the HDD have a problem, the easyest way to know it is by booting without it... and/or try to repeat the firmware installation with a different HDD

I just left it to a technician, I hope he realizes that the problem is the HDD, he tells me that it is a brick, but apparently not.
